Gravel Cycling Trailer Canyon in Topanga State Park

Wow, are we blessed here in Venice or what? We can get into some seriously amazing riding right out our back door in no time. Karen and I wanted something a little alternative to ride this past sunday so we settled on riding Trailer Canyon. It's a steep climb out of the Palisades with generous views, beautiful fire roads, and it connects you up to Temescal Ridge which can take you up into Topanga State Park. We kept our ride relatively brief, it had just 1,000 ft of climbing but that came in just a few miles. UP UP UP. 

I definitely recommend tying Trailer Canyon into your routing in the Santa Monicas. There's just so much to ride up there that it's like - how do you do it all? What a wonderful problem to have.
